Service 01
Agarwood Authentication & Grading
Every shipment we process undergoes in-house grading based on visual inspection, aroma profile, resin content and sink test. Agarwood price per kg varies by grade — from Grade B ($120/kg) to Grade AAA ($680/kg). For clients requiring third-party verification, we work with certified laboratories to provide resin content reports (chromogenic assay).
Grades offered: Plantation Grade AAA / AA / A / B / C (by resin content and agarwood scent profile). All certificates include origin, weight, grade and resin percentage.
- Visual & aroma grading by expert team
- Third-party lab resin content test (on request)
- Grading certificate issued with every batch
- CITES Appendix II documentation for Aquilaria spp.
Common Questions
How long does authentication take?+
Standard turnaround is 24–48 hours for visual + sink + density. GC-MS takes another 24–48 hours. We email scanned certificates first; printed originals ship with your cargo.
Can you authenticate samples I source elsewhere?+
Yes. Mail in 5–10g of chips, 0.5ml of oil or one bead, and we will issue the same grading certificate we use for our own batches at $35 per sample.
Is the GC-MS report admissible for customs disputes?+
Our reports include the lab signature, batch ID and chromatogram. Most customs officers in the GCC, EU and Japan accept them; for court-grade reports we route via a SAC-accredited third-party lab on request.
Our Testing Protocol
How We Guarantee Quality
We have run this 6-step protocol on every export shipment since 2014. The first three steps take minutes, the last three take 24–72 hours, and your grading certificate ships with the cargo.
Visual & Structural Examination
Our experts conduct a detailed visual inspection of every sample. Natural agarwood forms when resin develops inside infected trees, producing highly distinctive patterns not found in artificial substitutes.
- Resin lines and natural patterns
- Color variations and resin concentration
- Surface texture and oiliness
- Structural integrity of the wood
Chemical Composition Analysis
Advanced laboratory testing uses Gas Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) to identify the aromatic compounds present. These chemical markers provide scientific evidence of authenticity and resin maturity.
- Agarospirol
- Agarofuran
- Guaiol
- Hinesol
- Chromone derivatives
Sample Registration & Documentation
Every authentication begins with strict documentation of the submitted sample. Full traceability prevents substitution during testing — each sample carries a unique identification code from intake to certificate.
- Sample ID and certificate number
- Product type (chips, beads, powder, or raw wood)
- Weight and dimensions
- High-resolution photographs
- Date of submission and inspection
Density & Resin Content Evaluation
We measure resin concentration through density testing and aroma profiling. High-quality agarwood sinks in water (density >1 g/cm³) due to its dense resin content — a reliable indicator of grade.
- Density measurement
- Sink or float evaluation
- Resin concentration estimation
- Natural scent at room temperature
- Aroma complexity when gently heated
Microscopic Botanical Identification
To confirm the botanical origin, microscopic analysis verifies that the wood originates from the genus Aquilaria. This method also detects artificial treatments or adulteration.
- Wood fiber structure
- Vessel distribution
- Resin infiltration patterns
- Cellular morphology
Authentication Report & Certification
Once testing is complete, we issue a professional authentication certificate providing collectors, traders and buyers with reliable documentation confirming authenticity and quality grade.
- Sample identification information
- Summary of all testing methods used
- Chemical analysis results
- Authenticity conclusion
- Quality grade and resin assessment
- Unique certification number for verification
Every Shipment. Every Batch. Verified.
We sign every grading certificate by hand. If a buyer disputes the grade after delivery, we cover the GC-MS retest fee at an independent lab and refund the difference if our grade was off. Used by 500+ wholesale clients across 10+ countries since 2014.

Plantation Cultivation & Sustainable Supply
We operate managed Aquilaria sinensis and Aquilaria crassna (aquilaria malaccensis group) plantations in Guangdong, China, using artificial inoculation technology to stimulate resin formation. Our agarwood trees are inoculated at Year 3 and harvested at Year 6 for optimal resin concentration. Agarwood seedlings (agarwood plant saplings, 1–2 year) are also available for wholesale export to plantation investors.
Plantation agarwood from our farms carries full traceability documentation, making it ideal for buyers in the EU and other markets with strict import compliance requirements. The agarwood tree price varies by species, age and quantity — contact us for seedling wholesale pricing.
- Aquilaria sinensis & Aquilaria crassna plantations
- Artificial inoculation for controlled resin formation
- Full traceability from plot number to export
- Sustainable harvesting practices & replanting program
Common Questions
Which species do you sell as seedlings?+
Aquilaria sinensis (best for South China, Vietnam, Cambodia climates) and Aquilaria crassna. Both are CITES Appendix II and ship with phytosanitary papers.
How soon do trees yield resin?+
We inoculate at year three. First commercial harvest of inoculated heartwood is at year six; full-rotation plantations harvest at year eight to ten for higher resin density.
Can you advise on plantation site selection?+
Yes — share your plot coordinates and rainfall data. Our agronomist returns a 4-page suitability brief covering drainage, shade trees and inoculation cost per hectare.

Service 03
Wholesale Supply & Export

Our export team handles all logistics, documentation and customs clearance coordination.
Minimum order quantities are flexible — samples welcomed. Current agarwood price per kg: Grade B from $120, Grade A from $280, Grade AAA from $680. Sea freight, air and express courier (DHL / FedEx) available.
Common Questions
What is the smallest wholesale order you accept?+
1 kg for chips and powder, 1 tola (12g) for oud oil, 100 sticks for incense. Below this we route you to the sample service.
Do you ship CITES-controlled wild agarwood?+
No. All chips, oil and incense we wholesale come from our managed plantations and ship with farm-of-origin records plus CITES Appendix II re-export permit.
What payment terms do you offer to repeat buyers?+

Service 04
OEM / Private Label Manufacturing
Launch your own oud fragrance or agarwood wellness brand without a factory. We offer complete OEM and private label solutions: custom agarwood oil formulation, packaging design, printing and labelling — all to your specification.
Products available for private label include agarwood essential oil (oud essential oil) blends and bottling, agarwood incense sticks, burning incense coils, agarwood bracelet sets and gift boxes. The agarwood fragrance profile, concentration and packaging can all be customised. Typical lead time is 30–45 days after artwork approval.
- Custom oud oil blending & bottling
- Branded incense packaging & printing
- Bead necklace & bracelet sets with custom pouches
- Gift box assembly with insert cards
- Minimum 50 units per SKU
Common Questions
What is the minimum order per SKU for private label?+
50 units per SKU. Below 50 we run a sample batch first ($300–$600 depending on packaging complexity) so you can validate the formula before committing.
Can you replicate a fragrance I already have?+
Yes. Send 5ml of the reference oil and a target cost per ml. We submit three GC-MS-matched iterations within two weeks; final approval triggers production.
Who owns the formula after the OEM run?+
You do. Our standard OEM contract assigns full IP of the bespoke blend to your brand once the second invoice clears. We sign mutual NDAs before sample work begins.

Common Questions
What does a typical engagement look like?+
Two-week sprint: kickoff brief, scent direction (animalic vs floral vs sweet), three blend iterations, GC-MS sheet for each, then a hand-off to OEM production or your in-house perfumer.
Do I need to commit to OEM production after consulting?+
No. The $850 starter fee covers the full deliverable (brief, three blends, GC-MS data, written rationale). You can take the formula to any manufacturer.
Can you train our retail staff on oud notes?+
Yes — we run remote 90-minute sessions on Aquilaria species, regional notes (Hindi vs Cambodian vs Borneo), and how to talk to perfume customers about resin grade.

Global Reach
Agarwood Across Eight Markets
The same plant — eight distinct sourcing realities. Saudi mabsoos, Dubai luxury oud, Indian deg-bhapka attar, Japanese kōdō, Korean hyang, Greater China ritual, Malaysia–Indonesia halal export, and Western niche perfumery each have their own grade ladders, MOQs and compliance flows.
🇸🇦Saudi ArabiaMabkhara & Mabsoos
Riyadh, Jeddah and Mecca attar houses build on heavy-base mabsoos — whole or coarsely-broken Aquilaria sinensis chips soaked in concentrated oud. Daily mabkhara hospitality, Friday majlis and Hajj gifting drive year-round demand for Grade A and AAA chips with deep-base resin profile.
🇦🇪United Arab EmiratesDubai Luxury Oud
Dubai and Abu Dhabi lead the GCC luxury fragrance market — floral-leaning oud blends, branded attar collections and duty-free OEM at scale. Hotel hospitality programs and majlis suppliers source premium pure oud oil plus bakhoor chips with strict batch-to-batch consistency.
🇮🇳IndiaAttar Distillation Heritage
Mysore, Kannauj and Hyderabad are the world's deg-bhapka attar capitals, hand-distilling oud-base attars for centuries. Indian attar houses source Aquilaria sinensis chips as hydro-distillation feedstock; the domestic agarbatti and dhoop incense market also drives steady volume demand for mid-grade chips and powders.
🇯🇵JapanKōdō & Koh Incense
Japan's 600-year-old art of incense appreciation — kōdō — treats agarwood (jinko) as a refined sensory experience. Koh sticks are burned in Buddhist temples daily, and premium grade chips are collected and traded like fine art.
🇰🇷South KoreaHyang & K-Niche Perfumery
Korean hyang (향) appreciation parallels Japanese kōdō with its own ritual context — Buddhist temples, tea ceremonies and ancestral rites. K-beauty's surge into niche perfumery has opened a new B2B channel: Seoul fragrance houses sourcing pure oud oil for limited-edition luxury releases and gift programs around Chuseok and Lunar New Year.
🇨🇳Greater ChinaTCM, Prayer & Plantation
Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and the Singapore-Vietnam Chinese diaspora anchor the world's largest Buddhist and Taoist ritual market plus the Traditional Chinese Medicine pharmacopeia. 108-bead prayer bracelets, ceremonial chips and TCM-grade powder drive year-round volume; mainland plantation investment continues to scale.
🌏Malaysia & IndonesiaHalal Bakhoor Export Hub
Malaysia and Indonesia are Southeast Asia's halal-certified bakhoor export powerhouses, supplying GCC, the wider Muslim world and domestic Islamic markets. Buyers source Aquilaria sinensis chips and oud oil meeting halal certification, with packaging and labeling for retail across Southeast Asian Muslim consumers.
🌍Western MarketsLuxury Perfumery & Wellness
In Europe, the USA and UK, oud fragrance has become the fastest-growing note in niche perfumery. The complex oud scent — warm, woody and deeply resinous — drives demand for pure oil and agarwood aromatherapy. OEM demand for branded oud collections is surging.
