What you create with agarwood chips
Charcoal burning (kōdō / mabkhara)
Place one or two chips on an ash bed above slow-burning charcoal. No direct flame — indirect heat releases the full aromatic range over 20–45 minutes.
Oud oil distillation
Grade A and AAA chips yield 1–2% oud oil by weight via water distillation. The single most valuable application per kilogram of material.
